What?

foss-north is an free / open source conference covering both software and hardware from the technical perspective. Hosted in Gothenburg between Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm with an international airport, we provide a meeting place for the Nordic foss communities and will bring together great speakers with a great audience.

Lydia Pintscher has been contributing to free software for over 10 years in various projects. She studied computer science at KIT. Today she is the product manager of Wikidata, Wikimedia's knowledge base, as well as the president of KDE e.V.. She is the editor of Open Advise.

Jos Poortvliet has been marketing and promoting in communities for over a decade, active in KDE and working as community manager for SUSE and ownCloud. He currently heads marketing at Nextcloud.. He occasionally shares some of his thoughts on his blog.
 
 

When and Where?

foss-north 2017 will be hosted at Folkets hus, Gothenburg on April 26.
We plan a full day from 9:00 - 17:00.
 
 

Tickets

Tickets will be made available through eventbrite. The tickets include coffee, light snacks and lunch.
A limited number of early bird tickets are available for 250 SEK. The full price tickets are 350 SEK.
